So what now?

Romans 10:9-10 “if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.”

If you are a not a Christian and you have gone through this resource guide, and particularly this section, you have a decision to make.  You can accept the information and make the decision to accept the gift Christ offers.  Or you can reject Christ’s gift and Him having first priority in your life.  You’ll continue going in the direction you’ve been going, that direction which all of us were headed, which eventually leads to an eternal separation from him.

God will not force you to choose Him.  He has done everything possible for you to be saved, but the decision is still yours.  If you don’t want to spend eternity with God and with Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, he will not force you.  There are many who have lived for today, who are paying for it for all eternity.

If you have reached the point of making a decision to accept Christ’s priceless gift of salvation, and you have chosen to now live for him and not yourself anymore, you can pray the following prayer to God. It comes from the following web page.  I recommend reading the entire page. Remember, God knows your heart and motivation before you pray.  And also remember, to not make a decision is making a decision.

Prayer of Salvation

www.allaboutgod.com/prayer-of-salvation.htm

“Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I ask you Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

Paul Washer states,

“It doesn't matter whether or not you know Jesus.

It does matter whether or not Jesus knows you."

To better illustrate this, he indicates that

"it is not a matter of us going up to the Whitehouse and saying that we know the President that is what allows us in, it is a matter of the president saying that he knows us.”

When it comes to Salvation, you have only two choices; to accept the payment Christ made for the sin you have committed and accept Jesus Christ as Savior in this life, or to try to pay for the infinite debt you owe and meet Christ after this life as the Righteous Judge.  The choice is completely up to you, and I hope that you now realize the importance of each choice and the implications of each choice.

Closing Thoughts

I hope you have found value in the information in this guide and in the resources listed throughout and also in the following section.

If you are a Christian, I hope you now have a better understanding of the incomprehensible God we worship.  I hope you also have a better understanding of what it means to be a Christian, and that this guide has helped correct misinformation you formerly believed as true.  I hope this guide has also shown you the value of being able to provide evidences for the truths of Christianity, and that it has also provided you with a skillful method of sharing the Gospel message with others.  I hope you also realize a much greater confidence in what you believe, and feel that you can be much more capable of defending your faith to those challenging what you believe, and correcting their misinformation.

If you haven’t accepted the claims of Christianity, I hope the information and resources in this guide have shown that Christianity is worth investigating, not because Christians hope that it is true, but because of the abundance of evidence to confirm it.  If you are in this last group, I hope this information motivates you to seriously consider these numerous evidences for the truths of Christianity and the implications for your life and where you will spend eternity.

You can recognize Jesus Christ as God and accept Him as your Lord in this life or you can recognize Jesus Christ as God after this life, and spend all eternity realizing that you will never again have the opportunity to accept Him as your Lord and Savior.

Thank you again for your time in reading through this guide and considering the information.  Hopefully you realize that the information and resource links contained in this guide will allow you to not only learn about and research further the topics in this guide, but also will enable you to research any other question on Christianity, the Bible, God, etc., which has not been included here.

May God bless you through this guide and the included information through the numerous links to the extensive resources.
