What About Claimed Scientific Errors
in the Bible?
Many critics of the Bible claim that it can’t be true because science has proven the Bible wrong and that it has errors when indicating scientific facts. Since critics claim the Bible has errors they conclude then that it certainly can’t be from God. After all, the God of the Universe wouldn’t make scientific mistakes because God knows everything, right? This conclusion is true if the Bible has scientific mistakes. What is true is that these criticisms have been proven to be wrong themselves or misinterpretations of the Bible. We’ve already seen many of the ways the Bible is accurate scientifically, and also indicated accurate science hundreds and thousands of years before modern science would discover these principals.

Scientific, archaeological, and prophetic evidences show that God has proven Himself trustworthy in the things we can check so that we can have confidence in Him in the things we cannot check. These evidences also show that the claim “The Bible is scientifically inaccurate” is made by those who have never actually investigated the evidences or that the evidences don’t confirm the conclusion they have already decided.
Now that we've seen evidence for the Divine origin of the Bible, we can be confident in the verses written therein.
2 Tim 3:16-17 “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”
It is clear through these verses and the confirmation of the different evidences, (Scientific, Archaeological, etc.), that the Bible not only proves that it could only have come from from God, but it contains everything to enable us to learn what God wants us to know about Him, His will, and His plan for our lives and well being, and for all of humanity. The Bible is the only religious work which has been proven to be from God and the only reference necessary to answer the important questions regarding God, our lives, our eternal destination, etc.
There are some religions which consider the Bible authoritative but they have revised certain verses and sections. Or these religions consider other religious works on the same level of authority as the Bible, and use those works to support teachings contradictory to the Bible. Again, if the Bible is God's word and thus true, as has been reasonably proved beyond a reasonable doubt, any work that contradicts the Bible is false.
If we think about it logically we realize that it is foolish to think that this God who is outside of time, who has created over 100 billion galaxies out of nothing, who knows everything, etc. would have left anything necessary for us out of the book which He has provided for us and has indicated is fully sufficient for every important decision.
